How do I duplicate a page from a provided template?

If we’ve created a custom page template for you – such as a facilities or case study layout – it will be delivered to you as a draft page in the backend of your site. From there, you can duplicate it as many times as you need using a simple tool built into your site.

Here’s how to do that:

Where can I find my template?

We’ll send you a direct link to the draft page once it’s ready. Alternatively, you can:

  1. Log into your site.

  2. Navigate to Content > Pages using the top menu.

  3. Look for a draft page with a name like “Template – Subject Area” or “Template – Facilities”.

These template pages are not intended to be published directly. Instead, use them to create your own versions via duplication.

How do I duplicate the template?

Once you’ve found the draft page, duplicating it is easy:

  1. Hover over the template page in the list view.

  2. Click Clone.

This will instantly create a copy of the page, which will appear as a new draft in your list. You can then edit the new page with your own content.

Tip: Give each duplicated page a clear and descriptive title before publishing – this will help you stay organised.

Can I duplicate the template more than once?

Absolutely. You can create as many duplicates as you need.

Do I need to change any settings?

No. All the necessary settings for this duplication feature have been handled for you already. You don’t need to touch anything in the plugin settings or make any adjustments.

Warning: Avoid editing or publishing the original template page. Always work from a duplicated version.
