🎓 What is Advisor Mode?

Advisor Mode is a powerful feature in Prospectus Plus that enables university advisors to create personalised prospectuses for students quickly and efficiently. Designed for use in advisory sessions, open days, and conferences, it ensures that each student receives a tailored prospectus, instantly delivered to their inbox.

🛠 How Does Advisor Mode Work?

When using Advisor Mode, advisors can quickly create a new prospectus for a student without the student needing to log in. Here’s how it works:

1. Log in – Ensure that your advisors have a Prospectus Plus account, and when they log into the Prospectus, they will see new options available on the front cover.
2. Start a New Prospectus – Navigate to 'Advisor Mode' and then ‘Create New’ to begin the prospectus-building process.
3. Enter Student Preferences – Select relevant courses and personalisation options.
4. Data Capture Activation - This will automatically activate the data capture fields commonly used in Walled Garden Mode.
5. Instant Delivery – The customised prospectus is immediately sent to the student’s email. If you are using our Print-on-Demand technology, then this will also initiate that workflow.
6. Clean Slate – Each time a new prospectus is created, it starts fresh. Past selections do not carry over, ensuring a seamless experience without any residual course selections from previous sessions.

Additional functionality is available inside of Advisor Mode, for logging interaction notes against specific prospects, and favouriting specific prospectuses that have been created.

Interaction Notes

Clicking on the note icon on the right of a prospects name in Advisor Mode will allow you to type any notes about your conversation with the prospect. This can be useful if you intend to follow up personally with prospects.

Favourites

Using the star icon next to a prospects name in Advisor Mode allows you to move the prospectus into the Favourites panel. This gives you quick access to this prospectus, regardless of how many that you create. You might choose to use this to keep a potential students prospectus easily accessible. Or, you could use this to create a prospectus (eg. a parents guide) that you might want to show to prospects at a fair.

Re-print

If you are utilising our Print-on-Demand features, then you can use the printer icon to re-print If there was an issue preventing the original print from happening.
