Adding Custom Registration Fields to Your User Export
If you’re using Walled Garden Mode with a custom registration form but haven’t purchased CRM integration, you may still want to export user data captured by your form. Here’s how you can include custom fields in the Site User Manager export.
Follow these steps to ensure your custom form data is available in your CSV export:
Go to Users > Site User Manager > Settings > Exporting Users.
Scroll down to the ‘User Meta to Export’ field table. You’ll see columns for ‘Meta Key’ and ‘Meta Label’.
Click the blue ‘Add Meta’ button at the bottom of the table.
Open a new tab and go to Branding > Application > Custom Fields JSON.
Click the preview link, which will open a JSON file in a new tab.
Find the field you need and copy its name. (For example, country_of_domicile)
Go back to the Exporting User settings and paste the copied field name into the ‘Meta Key’ field.
Enter a Meta Label – this will be the column title in your exported CSV file.
Click ‘Save Export Settings’.
Go to the ‘Export’ tab, and you’ll now see your new field as a checkable option when exporting user data.
You can now export user data, including any custom fields you’ve added! 🎉
